Anyone have a line on one these in .308 and 16.5" barrel configuration? Preferably tan or sage.

Probably faster to buy one used and cut the forend down and slap a short barrel on it.
If you are talking about the new AT-X LE with the short forend in .308 then those are only sold to departments per contract. There is a very specific way an individual officer can get one for duty use, but I am not sure of it.
From what I gather we are the only place that sells the AT-X LE.
So long story short it would be faster to cut a civilian one yes.

An over-run of short uppers that will fit both the AT-X and AT-XC would probably turn into a quickly sold out group buy. I'd be in for two. Raw would be fine, the rattle can doesn't need to know.
