So who paid off Tillis..

What is in the BBB that's worth voting for? They didn't include the DOGE cuts so they will never get passed. They cut out the 2A stuff because some unelected cunt dredged up a parliamentary procedure. There's enough pork in it to cause a hundred million muzzies to commit suicide.

So the lobbyists for the Silencer industry spread money around to influence the bill?

Let's not forget selling off 1.6 Million acres of pristine public land (NF) at ~$4000/acre for housing developments and adding 3.3 Trillion to the deficit.

"Influence" pro or con? I'm pretty sure that the suppressor industry is happy the way things are. Having a boat load of Toyota Corollas dumped on the market will hurt them for a long time. Until the market realizes that they are junk and actually be willing to pay for a Mercedes

This.

If the doge cuts in the bill don’t include the pentagon IT. IS. FUCKING. WORTHLESS

I thought Trump ran on draining the swamp, not making it deeper and more dangerous?

But weren’t we upset when Obama declared more than 200 million acres national parks?

Yeap and National Parks means it's off limits to almost everything except bird watching (with a permit of course).

IIRC Trump's tax cuts will sunset this year, if they do and everyone's taxes go up at a time when the economy is in the shitter the voter rage will be apocalyptic.

Everyone’s rage should be apocalyptic. He has been in office twice running on

1) draining the swamp. (He has only surrounded himself with more of it)

2) ending the perpetual war of terror. (What he’s been the least bad on so far, sort of)

3) making America great again. (The tariff policy along with the largest borrowing bill in history refute this joke)

You cannot trust any politician.

We want Trump to be our savior, and I voted for him, but remember that he was a democrat for most of his life. I do believe that he is working to improve the US, although my wish is that he would shrink government.

I don’t really care anything about Tillis, but just so we are all on the same page, we have a gigantic bill that at best keeps our current tax rates while the government continues to spend like a drunk in Vegas. Meanwhile telling us that even with control of congress and the senate and the presidency, they just can’t do anything about the NFA ( please don’t try to explain the Byrd rule or parliamentarian to me.) Our elected representatives will always have an excuse for why the only groups they fight for are lobbies with $$$$$$ behind them. Oh and we are going to create another giant, ridiculous loophole in the tax code for no tax on tips (for those of you out of touch with reality, the girl at Denny’s was not paying taxes on all her tips anyway.) Now can I pay my plumber $50 with a $400 tip? And then we have the SALT subsidies, so states can continue to tax people like their own personal ATMs and others will make up the shortfalls. We vote for them and they hook us up every time.

Is there any way to expand that no tax on tips to… uh, everything?
