Firefighters shot responding to wildfire in North Idaho

Our republic is in serious danger because we didn't deport the 'progressives' (Nazis/Socialists, Communists) in the early 1900s like we should have...

Democrat policies, for example their CMHA/Community Mental Health Act of 1963 signed by JFK emptied Mental Hospitals into our communities (Reagan only changed the funding method) and streets.

Democrat policies that were intentionally designed to destroy the nuclear family- no fault divorce, custody laws designed to alienate fathers, etc.

Democrat policies like the Hart-Celler Immigration Act of 1965 that intentionally destroyed our demographics by eliminating merit-based immigration from nations with populations most likely to assimilate into American culture, and switching it to chain migration from very poor nations with populations that have little education and greater cultural differences with us.

Democrat policies like LBJ's 'great society' which intentionally created a nanny-state to re-enslave the poor to be very dependent on taxpayer funded free stuff.

Democrat policies like ObamaCare that ruined the option of less expensive health insurance by forcing men to subsidize mandatory coverage features for women, while creating a marketplace that was/is a major profits boondoggle for the insurance industry.

Democrat policies like Biden's disastrous national inflationary spending spree that resulted in prices doubling and tripling for Americans on most groceries and dry goods- despite Biden's economic advisors warning him that would happen.

Democrat policies constantly forced on our kids and us that intentionally and falsely lie about the Mental Illness known as Gender Identity Disorder, Gender Dysphoria, Transsexualism- telling us it's normal and just part of the LGB community. The fact is that gender and sex are synonymous and their are only two genders. (being born with traces of both reproductive organs- cross sex- is a birth defect and not part of Trans)

Democrat policies that are intentionally designed to destroy Men so women can feel better about themselves.

Democrat policies like weaponization/corruption of government to force a color revolution on us.

The list goes on...

….a firefighting blackhawk.

That X Post about uh60 with MG... LOL is most likely 100% just pile of internet troll bullshit.

But.. there Lots of UH60's out there used on fire contracts. They were sold Gov. surplus and stripped ,and setup for fire management. They bought a lot of them for future just spare parts also. Got a buddy who fly's them on fire contact and told me after they strip all the unnecessary weight of them they are a Real Powerhouse, and a blast to fly .
They strip many hundreds of Lb's out of the old UH60's, and even the wiring stripped out of them is crazy amount of weight. I guess they are wired for 'plug-in and play' on about everything they were Mil. designed to do.

We've had 2 noted incidents there w/ dirtbikes and always park at that trailhead. We take 34hr brake there, park , spend the night, and ride all day. Lots of meth'd out looking people come and go there.

6/21 - At that trailhead we finished riding, came out to parking lot, loaded bikes up and were sitting between our trucks maybe 15 min (not visible to trailhead) and a guy in a ghillie suit, painted face, and sniper rifle (Big PRS, not hunting rifle) walks out with another guy in jeans and white tshirt behind him.. He was parked right beside me in some ratty old service mini van w/ WA plates. I noticed him and told my friends... like WTF? He went to the back of van and could hear him drop mag and cycle the bolt and eject shell. It seemed off. I dismissed it as someone probably making youtube videos.

10/12/22 - We rode up the side of that mountain (3 guys on dirtbikes) and passed a hunter... then rode down the other side (quite a ways), stopped at a clearing and Y at a gravel road. We had been sitting there maybe 10 min and that hunter approaches us (with rifle slung on back) and said this, along these lines - "I seen you ride by and had some really bad thoughts, I wanted to come over and apologize or having such bad thoughts, people wait all year and take off work to come out here and hunt and your motorcycles scare everything away... again I want to apologize because I had some really bad thoughts when you passed me up there."
He repeated himself a few times, I get it, but he seemed like a psycho.

Im patiently awaiting them to release the guys pic.

Sounds like the guy just actually felt bad and didn’t know how to process the fact he had those thoughts

Our republic is in serious danger because
our leadership is allowed to buy votes to keep/put them in office, as well as take money once in to line their pockets for their votes on XYZ bills,... its as simple as that.
The premise in/of the script for the movie "Shooter" is the reality of this country's system. The only thing that will ever change it is what took place in the last 10 minutes of that movie. The public thinking their voting is for change is laughable, & if you think those inside will be voting for term limits, you need time on a couch.

Yeah, lets go ride with noisy, smelly dirt bikes through a hunting area during hunting season. What can go wrong?

Its a dirtbike and ATV trail.. You'd think they's post a sign up saying its hunting season or something. It isnt my job to see what activities other people are up to. I pay as much attention to hunting as I do the tea market in china. How would anyone know? Anyway... I get it. I could swear just off the trailhead into the trail there was a big sign that said no hunting or firearms... but then this sign in the parking lot.. idk?

Say what now?
The problems comes from years of letting brush and smaller pine trees choke everything out. I.E. We prevent natural Forrest management by putting out fires. The trees that aren't meant to dominate begin to dominate. These trees become ladder fuels that move the fire into the canopy of trees designed to survive wildfires due to their thick bark on their trunks.

Just burning them up is no longer a solution that doesn't wipe the entire slate clean. Logging the smaller pine and spruce around the larger longer living trees is the solution. Or letting fires burn so you dont end up with billons of acres of a complete mess in the first place.

If I have invested the same amount of time and money to go hunt and some riders came through on dirt bikes, I would have some murderous thoughts myself.
just because it hunting season doesn’t mean no one else gets to use the woods. Public lands.

Whats really interesting is when you spend more time recreationally in an area and a few weeks out of the year, some jackasses dressed in camouflage that smell like deer piss think they own they woods.

We don't get a whole lot of time to hunt. It is your land too, but it's a cunty thing to do if you have any respect for your fellow users. Good chance that trail was built with hunting dollars for you to enjoy. No wonder the country has gone to shit.

If they're sticking to marked ATV trails then that is their business, tons of hunters use quad runners etc, what is this shit

not like riders are riding every square inch of the forest. not even close. even a 50 mile system of trails is taking way, way less than a square mile of land. plenty of opportunity to get well away from any trails. and a number of the groups i'm aware of actually spend a fair amount of time on trail maintenance. i hunt and ride and see no reason for limitations on either.

I'm just saying letting it all burn at once is not a good thing but management in small sections at a time with some common sense which the States out west don't have an ounce of is is the way to go. Allowing selective harvesting is a great thing although it looks like a unsightly disaster area but in a few years it promotes a whole of wildlife almost immediately.

You sound like one those city type who wear pink camo and lives in apartment with pruis. It's never a bad thing and they prolly have just as much rights to ride as any hunters sitting and waiting. Almost every time they do you better be ready as this just pushes and move whatever the fuck you hunting.

I have a friend who installs high voltage transmission lines. Someone in the company he works for was out in the woods, inspecting for transmission line installation. He was shot in the back with a rifle. Police believe it was an individual protecting illegal grow operations, typically Mexican mafia where we are on the west coast.
They are out there, especially along the PCT. Sadly, gov will not go in there and get rid of them. People like to sweep it under the rug but they out there. Cartel and illegal growing that is.

These people are everywhere. Always something that’s bothered me in hunting season. You wearing orange, someone likes to think animals ain’t comp enough and decides to go full up camo ghillie in the woods and you walking around with a bright Orange target on your back. Hell even hiking during hunting bothers me because most of the time it’s shared land and people stomping along trails would be easy.

Yep. Agreed. But nobody wants to start it and if yo do you’ll be labeled a crazy terrorist. But I’m inclined to believe that’s all that will get their attention these days. Were you aware of the no kings parade in AL? How about that Mayor Woodfin was proud of them? How about the crazy lefties battle plan to literally turn the SE blue?

The shooter deceased according to the morning news
Yep. Found him later last night, except witnesses claimed there was more than one.

Ever notice how these high profile shootings take place about the same time that any pro-gun legislation is advancing?
Yep. Interesting huh?

They have started managing on CPW land controlled by the DOW here in CO. They use a machine to chip the unwanted trees right down to the ground pretty much. Leaving the ponderosa pines.

Now they are trying to legislate a new wildlife council that will be purely a political body. They control the machines so it will pass if election reforms are not made. They will ban lead ammo first I imagine.

I follow and agree that burning it all to the ground isnt what i want to see. The eviromentalists that put us in this postion should be ashamed of themselves...but they arnet.

To me the obvious solution is selling permits to harvest the unwanted trees. And allowing people to cut and stack the wood to dry in their normal camping areas. Nothing environmentalists fight for seems to make the land better for wildlife. It's like watching an insane asylum. Human dams bad bad bad. Beaver dams good good good.

Not that I'm blaming you for anything, but WA state did this recently to the area we hunt. Developed a mt bike trail system through the mountains I've hunted for 17years, my father in law has hunted them for over 40yrs. The area use to be 70% sucess rate, last year it was down to 9%. Im sure none of the mountain bikers understand why everyone hates them.

So it's not a requirement for you to know the rules and hunting seasons, but please understand that the states are doing their best to limit opportunities for us and end hunting as we know it.

We all share the resources.

And, as a warshington state resident that has the same frustrations with WDFW over their fishing license/reg shenanigans, the cost of your hunting license didn't happen to go down any, I don't imagine ?..............

Oh, and I just got a call from my Buddy that said "go buy your fishing license today. the cost goes up 38% tomorrow". I asked him if we were going to be able to keep 38% more fish or if we were going to receive 38% more in the way of benefits.........

You don't even know where I am talking about, and no, the roads/trails I am talking about were not blazed or funded by deer hunters.

Funny I see deer all the time, I am not even trying to, people make it out like its some secret art...LOLOLOL.

I have been walking down marked trails and had hunters sitting in blinds fire their rifles just to be dicks. Or was cutting down a tree for fire wood and some ass was complaining to me about the noise... then why are you standing next to me talking... if my saw is scaring them off, you should know where they aren't.

I was never going out of my way to fucker with them but they act like pre madonnas. The mind set is kinda sick. The fact that you think that is a stain on the direction of the county is laughable.

If you want a private experience get on private lands, if not don't think I give a shit about your schedule.

The suspect has been identified as Wess Roley, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press on Monday. The official spoke on the condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the investigation.

Washington state works openly and aggressively to destroy all hunting. It would not be surprising in the least if they openly advertised for people to march thru the woods with tambourines during every modern firearm season.

As far as Idaho. I hunted on 160 private acres near CDA until this year. The owner gave keys to a few people, one particular asshole from California made 30 copies of the key and gave them to his friends. He was a coworker of the owner. Last deer season, on opening fucking day, this asshole and three other Califags showed up mid-morning and started blasting away with their new AR15's. This property borders two sections of state land which had at least a dozen guys on them. I left my stand and walked up to see the scene myself. These assholes did not see me until I was literally standing behind them two feet away. We had a nice chat, they had no idea people still hunted or that it was hunting season.

None of this has anything to do with this asshole killing firemen. If you were up there ripping around on a motorcycle and saw a weirdo that made you uncomfortable, you should have taken a picture or two and reported it. If you met an idiot who wanted to shoot you, same thing. If you spend hunting season ripping around the woods on a motorcycle, expect people to be shitty to you. Imagine for a minute, that you had to respect the hunters. Why it is always the hunter required to kiss your rude ass?

Since it wasn't hunting season, I doubt the shooter was upset that firemen ruined his hunt. But, the Big Beautiful Bill had just made it one step closer to a full vote in the senate. And the local communists were out hating on ICE for deporting their illegal voters.

No matter what the issue, even if you hate America, you are mad Gay Pride month is ending, whatever upsets you, you still do not get to shoot at people, especially firemen coming to save you from yourself. The cops shot this fuck to death btw. It was a much deserved death.

I'm in the da woods by myself a lot day time and night time.....been through the hunting thing with others while shooting, been through the camper thing while shooting, been through the pissed off land owner, been through the stumbled on grow site, been through the illegals camped with guns (crop workers), have had a mether or few stop and want to talk (see what is available to steal) been shot at for being in the wrong area and folks wanted me gone.

I like the comments about it's my area too. Yet they lack a certain practical understanding that some people are far more serious about it than you are.

* One can drive from the Mexican border to Canada on back roads if one has great maps / removal of head hands and feet + fire + a hammer for the teeth and misshaping of the skull + scatter a few miles away. Throw the remaining chunk over the edge and drag it down the hill 50 yards and tuck it under the brush - critters will take care of the rest. Problems can be solved easily out there, especially if one is just movin through the area. There are some folks (particularly since COVID) that are hiding out in woods that you really don't want to make contact with.

Many have adhered to the three S's all their lives as taught to them by their kin,... or learned via self preservation. What happens w/o detection, never happened,... I don't recall where but that was on the TV screen, at a Holiday Inn Express somewhere,...

I seen that up there in WA. while setting up steel once out in the hills. A truck full of Mexicans, sitting full in the truck bed also, had no gear or anything else with them. just a truck packed in Mexicans, came cruising on past us. There was Zero AG or anything else up there, and it just gets more rugged the the further out you get past us . All you can do is just look at the situation and say WTF ?

Precisely why I said in another thread that this land sale is about so much more than people realize.

Sheriff Norris had a press conference today at 2:00. He said the guy was using a shotgun with slugs and they found fragments of a smaller caliber but not confirmed at this time. The murderer had a couple of run ins with both the Sheriff and CDA police for trespassing and wellness checks. Their interactions were peaceful and he has no criminal record. They found him by using drones from multiple agencies. Water & retardant is being dropped on the fire.

Probably a god send if that’s what he was using. Likely zero firearms on that hill. Most cops handle traffic or hang by the road on our fires. Caught in open ground, unarmed and unsuspecting. Had it been better equipped and on a vantage point you’d be lucky if anyone made it off the hill

Better to carry if you can. Even a couple rounds in these cowards direction and they’ll probably end themselves right there. Or at least you’d have some suppressive fire to duck and hide hopefully.

This certainly isn’t the first baiting of firefighters in the last couple years. Most however are close range when they light their house or what not on fire
