So as I re-learned how to clean my rifle and properly use a borescope (cleaning use only!), I noticed a "trend" and was wondering if this is real or just luck.

It seemed my smaller bores fouled faster. My 6mm has the ring, while my 6.5s had some buildup, My 30 cal chambers were like "Carbon? WTF is Carbon" . Granted I shot a TON of 6.5 vs 308 (both with brakes and suppressed) and the other 30 cal is a magnum so round count tends to be low. Is it just a rule of thumb that smaller bores tend to foul up faster or did I just draw some lucky conclusions.

If you’re shooting varget it’s known to be a pretty dirty powder.
