Seekins Precision DMR 6MM ARC

Mine has been great after breaking the barrel in which took longer than I thought it should have. Shot a few hundred Hornady 105/108s to break in and get brass. Around 1moa with 108s and 1.5 with the 105s. Then started load developement with 95g Berger VLDs since I had 1500 of them.

The 95s were a little picky on seating depth and after about 150rds with the 95s messing with Lever showing lots of potential but nothing to write home about I ran some JB through the bore followed with boretech eliminator. This was the ticket! The 95s started hammering after that. The factory 108s also shot much better. Probably a .5-.7moa shooter.

95g Bergers at 2930fps is a beautiful thing in an AR :) Lever is so stinking dirty though, I shoot my bolt guns more but the Seekins is a keeper. All suppressed obviously

My Seekins 6arc is a 22”. It’s a hammer and has been 100% reliable. Factory Hornady Match 108s will print with all rounds touching at 100yds more likely than not and this was straight out the box.

My only complaint is the rifle length gas. It’s much harsher than it needs to be and Seekins per an email have no plans to go to a plus 2 like everyone else. I’ll likely chop mine down to 18” to lessen the already much too long dwell time.

Great to hear. Ill go for the 18 inch then when they come back in stock.

Very happy with my 18”. Have about 100rnds through it. Factory ELDM is .5”-.75”. Zero malfunctions. Build quality is as good as an higher end AR.
Added a Sawtooth rail, TT Diamond and a NF 4-32.
Wow. half-3/4 MOA on a gasser with factory ELDMs? That's as glowing a report as I have ever seen. No break or suppressor?

This was my experience as well with the 22” DMR.
First range trip-4 shots for a rough zero at 50, 1 more at 100 got it almost perfect. Next 5 shots were a ragged hole. 5 more with same results, so I jumped to 300 and a 5” gong was boringly easy to hit. Factory loaded 108 ELD-M’s. MV in the mid 2700’s.

just curious is it a rifle +1 gas system? it looks like its longer than regular rifle in all the photos. also how thick is the barrel in front of the gas block? good to hear they shoot good. Just got the HAVAK HIT M3 and it shoots lights out

Mine has been 100% reliable outside of adjusting the gas block too low. Still cycled the heavy stuff well but I had a short stroke when shooting 58g vmax. With asc and elander mags.

If not wanting to build your own 6arc is Seekins the way to go without spending more than 2k? I don’t really want the headaches of building one I just want it to run and shoot good.
Its def up there. If you want to just buy a complete upper Id also look at the following (for various different budgets):
If you prefer piston guns the only one I can think of is PWS Long Stroke Piston 6 ARC Complete Upper ($1,130)
