for the Seinfeld fans: looks like i have a bad gasket, like a terrible gasket.

2 points to mention... 1. Waterproof is not the same as steam proof. 2. Replace and test gaskets regularly. Replacement and testing usually isn't all that expensive. I think I paid 20-30 bucks last time with testing.
