Time pieces/Watches?

Just Bought. Couldn't resist a watch made by "POOK". Made in Finland, Broad Arrow (military acceptance) marked.

Mine got delivered yesterday. Probably will get a different strap. Pretty decent piece for a relatively low price (around 200 delivered)
Richard "Pook" Eiguren would probably be proud 🤣

for the Seinfeld fans: looks like i have a bad gasket, like a terrible gasket.

2 points to mention... 1. Waterproof is not the same as steam proof. 2. Replace and test gaskets regularly. Replacement and testing usually isn't all that expensive. I think I paid 20-30 bucks last time with testing.

For a used Rolex (they do not sell new) try Sant Blanc watches located in Branson, Missouri. They have one of the largest inventories of used Rolex’s in the US and there stuff is legit no fakes.
Most of his watches would pass for new and prices are market competitive.

Ask for John he’s a straight shooter and trustworthy.

Thank you. I'm a big fan of Omega also and I forgot to mention that one. Not sure about Cartier. I just don't know anything about them really.

hey guys, where did yall say a legit place to buy a used watch was? I'm looking for a watch for the wife for her 40th birthday but haven't found anything I like around here.

damnit, are we the same person? Wife's 40th is coming at the end of this month, she wants a nice watch and ive been looking all over.

she's found a Rolex she likes but i have a mental block on them, they seem pretentious but maybe I'm wrong

yeah, I'm just not sure the wife would actually be happy if I spent 10k on a watch for her. she'd be a lot more happy with a 2500 ish maybe 3500 watch. I'd be cool with her having a Rolex but I legit think she'd not like it that much and would always be scared to wear it.

I don't have the amount of disposable cash like some of you dark web organ harvesting heathens here. After my POS Luminox took a crap, I ended up with a Tacline M1000. Seems to be built like a tank with an alleged lifetime warranty. 150m waterproof iirc. Analog / digital, luminous & i can actually read it without glasses.

so the Rolex i bought for the wife came with only a leather strap, which i think is the way it originally came, but the leather is new, they put the correct Rolex clasp on it. anyone know where i can get a 19mm gold or gold/steel metal bracelet for it as an alternative?
