Federal GMM Center Strike vs GMM SMK

I've been curious on this too. I don't think there will be much difference but I still want to believe the sierra will be the superior of the two.

I tend to buy more sierra and berger bullets than I do hornady.

I believe the center strike is the new hornady clone bullets but I could be wrong and it could entirely be a new federal Bullet.

The hornady and/or Berger “clones” are the aeromatch line.

The center strike is a federal made bullet I believe.

I posted about this months ago and got little or no sensible response. I have since bought maybe 4 cases. I see little or no performance difference vs. SMK.

I have been shooting the 168 gr 308 Center Strikes in my Aero Solus and it has been better than MOA out my rifle.

I have tried the 175 gr Center Strikes but my rifle seems to prefer the 168's.

I just recently tried the FGMM with the SMK in both 168 and 175 and did not see any improvement
Got any left to pull and get weights and BTO on?

Yes, I still have 168 Center Strike's as well as 168 & 175 SMK FGMM ammo on hand.

It just so happens that I just purchased a Hornaday Comparator as I am gearing up to reload.

So, let me get the Comparator set up on a dial caliper and I will report back the BTO for the three weights I still have on hand.
