Ingenuity Powder System

What will he come up with next!?
This is a no obligation preorder. You will get an order number and when they are ready to ship your payment notification will go out in the order they were received. The current estimate for the first preorders that started 12-19-23 through about the end of 02-2024 should start going out toward the end of September/October 2025. If you preordered after the end of February 2024 then you will be in the second batch of production scheduled to release late summer/fall 2025. The second batch will go much much faster now that all the kinks have been ironed out in the first production run.

I assumed that you modified it? Because I keep refreshing his website and I don’t see that. But it would not surprise me at all and it would solidify my decision to proceed with the printed precision trickier instead
Yes, sir, answering—and foreshadowing—the question as to what will [Paul] come up with next.

I'm legitimately more excited for someone to call Paul for a status update and relay the excuse here than I am for the system to drop. What will he come up with next!?
I'll spare you from past experience here is my best guess:

Thank everyone who has placed a preorder and been so patient for this to come out. We are getting close now.

you forgot the second batch part. Let’s change that to late winter 2026 😂😂😂

I am suspecting the whole thing may have been scraped at this point considering all the grief he seems to get over it. I could be wrong though.
I'll show those son of a bitches on the Hide—I'll scrap the project and leave millions of dollars of pre-orders on the table, just to spite those pricks. That'll learn them.

Emailed Paul on August 25th and received this reply

You are in the top 150 units scheduled to go out the door and currently it should be toward the end of next month. I should have already been shipping but our new machine went down several weeks ago and still waiting on the fix so it set me back once again.

So "several weeks ago" could have been a time for an official update then. Just say that the machine is fried and continue to fix, no hard feelings from anyone.

Or, you can give no information and just keep the excitement and disappointment rolling. It's like that Christmas where I wanted the GI Joe aircraft carrier. I'm still waiting on Santa to deliver all these years later. Maybe this year will be the year, I've been goodish!

With all due respect, G.I. Joe never wore bell-bottoms with his name on the butt, forcing squids to look at his ass to address him by name. Putting him on a U.S. Marine taxi vessel is sacrilege.

Are you sure you weren't gunning for the G.I. Jane doll? ;)

“One” of the machine”s”

Buy another one!

The only new thing about the latest delay is that some semblance of a reason for it has been offered. But the same “next month“ is projected.

If the (one) machine can’t get fixed in three weeks and the representative can’t come out, why do we think that three more weeks is going to yield a different result? Are the other machines not spitting out parts?

I just learned about this powder dispenser today, and I am totally sold on upgrading from my ATv4.

What’s more interesting is the drama surrounding this bloke named Paul who can’t seem to deliver his damn product to the market to save his life.

Is more like this IMO:

I agree with you guys…I’ve been on the list since the beginning but I’ve been happy with my V3 and Paul’s electronics and trickler.
I’ve also stopped counting on this ever being released.

I ordered the draft shield and another powder meter…I’m lazy and don’t like changing the plates when I go from N150 to H4350 lol!!

Two years behind schedule. But sure - this is someone else’s fault for not fixing a machine for 3 weeks…….
...just wait until they "need a part" they can't get due to "supply-chair issues" (or because of "tariffs" or "bad orange man").

Cancel Christmas, ladies, as Santa Paul isn't delivering this year.

So who here has bought CNC milling machines and the like?

They are high dollar items, I believe.

So, is 3 weeks for a factory rep to repair your new machine believable?
Yeah, I can believe it. Availability of a technician to come out isn’t a new issue.
Our previous waterjet company regularly would schedule 8-10 weeks out and then the day before would push it out another
2-3 weeks. Needless to say when it shit the bed after 1200 hrs on a new pump we bought a different brand.

Very believable depending on what’s broken and who the mfg is.

The real mystery is why he doesn’t understand that taking 2 minutes to update the website would cut down on the phone calls and people bitching about 2 years of blown deadlines with virtually zero communication.

Ps- I really wish the old thread were still alive to pass out some “I told you sos”

Well I am prepared to get banned for this. And so be it.

But the old thread was shut down for “non-technical comments on a technical thread“ or maybe that’s just what I got banned for. This one has been allowed to continue in such a fashion inexplicably.

But these are now “technical” comments because “technically”, we are almost 2 years past deadline. And that is the only “technical” thing that concerns anyone about the ingenuity “precision” system at this point.

It doesn’t bode well for “precision“ when you’re release date is the exact opposite of “precision”, by changing the dates month after month for going on two years.

This is how it's done...next batch of notifications should "go out no later than August 30th" (tomorrow):

First Batch Orders Currently Sold Out, Awaiting Additional Controller Circuit Board

Trickler System Pricing of $350 + shipping (without scale)

Trickler System + Pre-Programmed Scale (fx-120i) Pricing of $875

While the first batch of Printed Precision Trickler System orders have all sold out, rest assured that availability will return in the near future. Currently we are tirelessly working to print parts, prepare components, and assemble control units with everything they need besides the controller circuit boards. As soon as our order for additional controller circuit boards arrives, these pre-assembled trickler units will be immediately ready to plug into the boards, complete quality control testing, and ship out to waiting customers.
We know this uncertainty related to the arrival date of circuit boards sucks for customers, and it sucks for us as well because I have strived to provide as accurate of dates as possible up to this point. Because of that, we will make every effort to keep those interested up to date with the latest information as it becomes available to us about the progress of this circuit board order.

As of August 24th the new circuit board order has arrived and I am both doing QC checks as well as populating chips into the boards. Parts have been printed in the meantime, and assembly of the full trickler systems will commence as soon as boards are prepared.
Availability notifications for the next batch of trickler systems will begin to go out no later than August 30th, and I will be reaching out in the order of the reservation numbers provided. If you have a reservation number please do try to check your emails as I will be asking for billing/shipping information to send out invoices for purchase.

I apologize for the unexpected additional delay, but I thank you for your patience throughout the process of tackling unforseen supply chain difficulties and I look forwards to getting more Printed Precision Trickler systems into your hands in the coming month and beyond.

We are also happy to announce that we have partnered with CE Products to provide customers with the option of purchasing a complete package including both the Printed Precision Trickler System and a brand-new fx-120i scale pre-programmed and shipped directly from CE Products. This full-service package eliminates the most troublesome portion of setup, scale programming, and provides you with everything you need to start loading with you Printed Precision Trickler all in a single purchase.
