Shoutout to @ThatHKMarksman for uploading the old AI demo DVD, chock-full of AW goodness. I also didn't know Magnum PI was an AW dealer back in the day (what a stud).
Watched without sound and assumed this was a Video from the USAnd that’s the most American-looking English guy I’ve ever ever seen!
The AS50 was indeed made. Although not very successful. Probably the SECOND most aesthetic AI ever made. Please note, this is an AW thread, although exceptions can be made if you own an AS50 and would like to share lmao.AI was going to make a 50cal gas gun???

Do you still have a left nutI'd sell my soul for a left-handed AWSM. Wait, too late.

I first saw that rifle on Discovery Channel’s “Weaponology.”
If I remember correctly, the host referred to it as the Barrett AS50.
The video also has the dubious recognition of being the most replayed of its time, demonstrating receiver / scope / barrel flex on recoil.
You beat me to hunting down and sharing this video. Thank you for saving me the trouble.

That angled one? That’s a pretty cool rail.Beautiful rifle. I'm looking for a single forward accessory rail. I was able to get the less common dual sided one - but the single evades me.
Do you mean the long rail along the forend? The double rail is actually two single rails put together. The removable bars underneath the railed sections are different. One is threaded and the other is counterbored with a through hole.Beautiful rifle. I'm looking for a single forward accessory rail. You use the one that is fully threaded for a single rail, with a pair of spacers/washers for the other side. I have a drawing for such a part.
Unfortunately no, I just made a drawing of my complete rail assembly before I sold it, so I could make a copy in the future if I wanted one again. The washer thing is only made of delrin so I wouldn't be surprised if SS have a bag of spares somewhere. If not, it's an easy part to make on a lathe.does your drawing have the washer PN's for the single sided?
I understand how the dual works. I have one here on my rifle. Here some pics when it was off.

Tell-tale sign of a copy vs a real rail would be that a copy would be fully machined, whereas a real one would have hallmarks of being an extrusion.
Just leave out part 6 and you can use the double rail as a single
