Totally agree, but would be remiss if I didn't say this is a little ironical coming from a guy who changed his name 5 times, gay love of Peter Thiel, got seed money from Pete (and probably Pete's seed), wears eye-liner and drag, won his first election a couple years ago, was a 'Never-Trumper' barely 15 minutes ago, and is now positioned to be the top of the GOP ticket in two short years (actually, he'll be President in less than a year, but I digress).

tech invests because congress can make regulatory policy decisions that affect their profits.
if pharma is legit, the efficacy and safety of their products should preclude the need to pay off politicians.
instead, they seem to have a need to pay off congress and the regulatory bodies that make health policies.
in any case, election finance is definitely a dirty business.
i wonder how much "aid" to israel makes its way back through to aipac to fund the politicians that approve the "aid" in the first place.
