I agree, that seems crazy. I got 2 from SWaller mentioned above. @Sdotcarter13 here maybe? And the cost for both was less than that, IIRC.

Still got my 2 TAB Gear from many years ago and they are still working fine. They are on bolt guns though. The Rifles Only HAD is a better set up for a semi auto with higher rates of fire.
Different covers for different applications. Totally overkill for a bolt gun or SPR, but for a hard use carbine I’d say the peace of mind is worth it. It won’t come off and it won’t melt until you’re at the point of destroying your can.
Not at all. The Rifles Only HAD is made for hard use also and is $95. 3000 degree inner lining with a 2000 degree outer. Take a look at them.
I’m familiar, and that style can walk off under heavy strings of fire as I’ve had happen.
Not with the wrap strapped on right but have at it with those $320 covers as it’s your money.

My own home brewed can cover. Easy to loosen and pull back to let it cool down but no walking otherwise
It can be had in black…..
Undersize by 1/4” I believe, to help with that movement and issues.

Been using Rauch Precision for a while. Well made, hard use, work well. Can run just the outer cover for light use or with the inner sleeve for hard use.....or buy their lighter use cover if that is all you need.
