My local gun shop has become a Class III dealer and I want another suppressor. On paper, both the Rugged Obsidian45 and Gemtech Lunar-45 meet my basic requirements for a pistol suppressor to be used with .45ACP and 9mm.
Does anyone have first-hand experience with either of these suppressors and, if so, what are your thoughts?

Thank you, Richard

My answer is if you have a rifle that needs one, settle that first. Having said that, the Obsidians are nice, never an issue, easy to take apart and clean, etc. If for some reason you need a 3 lug-do not get the Rugged one, go KAW Valley.

Interesting. I own an Obsidian 9 with Rugged’s 3 lug adapter. What about the KAW makes it better?

And is this the one you’re talking about?

I second the statement about not getting the Rugged 3 lug. Otherwise, the Rugged is a nice can. I have one.
