    I have a similar set up. I use a Leupold 1.5x5 and I match my load to the rifle. For shooting groups I find it difficult to shoot to the rifles potential unless you match the target to the reticle/magnification of the scope. For practical accuracy I find that magnification range very effective...

    I usually run a oil patch followed by two dry when I am done with the range for a week or so.

    Working on a new load using the 140 Accubond and Varget. 42.0 grains getting good accuracy and speed. 2745 out of a 20" barrel. This will be a load for hunting.

    I used a 3.5x15 NF to make hits out to 1400 yards and felt that was adequate.

    I have one of each and if there is any difference I can't tell by the way they feel. Looking at them side by side the MCS T maybe a little smaller/shorter.

    Yes you will find that the heavier 223 69-77 grn with have similar D.O.P.E as the 308s out to about 500ish yards.
