I have to agree with the Barnes 127gr LRX. I dumped a 300+ lb. cow elk with my .260 using that bullet at 150 yds. The bullet completely penetrated and she went down where I shot her. They shoot super accurate out of my gun and I would not hesitate to use them on bull elk as well.
My son has a Savage 116 in .300WSM. It has the Accu-stock and trigger. It shoots lights out with 180gr Accubonds over H4831. I have the same rifle in .260 and it's a flat out tack driver too. I'm sure the .300WM would shoot just as well.
Re: Foxpro Wildfire review
Thanks for the great review. I've been checking out the Foxpros for a while now. This does seem like quite a bang for the buck.
Re: ARROGANT BASTARD
AB is one of my top picks for sure. I haven't tried the Double Bastard yet, but I hear it excellent too. I haven't been disappointed by a Stone product yet.
As far as the 10 power etc (non HD)....Is there a difference? Did SWFA just buy the line and change the name or are there significant differences between the two?
