    TO the OP: how do they know who has what rifle? I assume you must have a long gun registry for them to know who's turned them in and who hasn't? Let this be a lesson to anyone who thinks a registry is anything but a way to confiscate your guns. This sucks!!!

    I just shake mine out thoroughly and then use a small thin brush to brush out any residue. Seems to work fine switching between powders. I'm anal about safety though and am scared shitless to accidently mix powders in the chargemaster. So my technique is to only ever use one type of powder...

    Thanks, that helps. But this part doesn't make sense (from your link): I thought just the opposite was true that semis generally have looser chambers than bolt guns because of the need for rapid feed and extraction.
