    Re: .308 Hunting bullet Ballistic tips are preferred (150 to 168 like the 168 most), but I'll shoot accubonds or other quality soft tipped hollow point. The accuracy and dynamic of the ballistic tips are extremely nice.

    Re: Opinions on new Savage? I forgot to mention, watch out for packages including a Simmons scope. The included Simmons scope will give out in a big hurry and the rifles don't seem to be more than Wally World quality, they're literally the bottom of the food-chain as far as Savage goes...
