    Re: TPS ring failure... I have two sets of the aluminum ones and they have been great. Fit finish is nice and the hold the scope securely. I hate to say it but coming from a machine building background it would appear that the ring was being torqued when it was not fully engaged in the base...

    Re: Mini 14 My old Mini's responded well to bedding the stock. Brought into the 1.5 MOA range. Out of the box it was around 5 MOA. The new ones are suppose to be better out of the box.
