    Mile or 2,000 yards Matches

Re: Mile or 2,000 yards Matches I was at the Parma shoot. They got out to 2,000 yards. The Parma shoot is what prompted the question here on SH. The 3,000 yard match is still sorting out details. Check the Parma Calendar over the next few weeks I think a .338 Edge guy is going to give 3,000 a go

    Mile or 2,000 yards Matches

Re: Mile or 2,000 yards Matches My google fu is weak but I found something near the Tri-Cities, Washington that had mile possibilities.(Rattle Snake Mountain?) Agustus in Wyoming has a Mile target, so does Captain Moroni for the South Central Idaho Shooters Match.

First Prone Position attempt a learning experience

Re: First Prone Position attempt a learning experience Most folks prefer a Harris 9 to 13 inch bi-pod for prone. The 6 to 9inch is generally too short. You need to move the scope forward to shoot prone compared to on a bench.

    Mile or 2,000 yards Matches

Anyone know of any Rifle Matches or competitions that get out to a Mile? Anyone heard of any really long range matchs that gets out to 2,000 or 2,500 or even 3,000 yards?

.22 Tactical Match -Course Of Fire

Re: .22 Tactical Match COF The point of this is so y'all can start a local match. Any target inside 200 yards should be 1/4 inch thick. It does not have to be AR steel. We're using both hot and cold rolled steel and there is no diff between them as far as targets go. Since they are hung...

.22 Tactical Match -Course Of Fire

Re: .22 Tactical Match COF The ~(approximate) distance to target is so we don't dink around trying to get exact distances. We just put the targets out. Lasers are ok to use, range finding is not part of the comp and sharing distances is ok. The most common rifles are 10/22's and Savage...
