    Thanks guys. I figured it was barrel vibrations. Although what Mad_Charlie said makes sense too. Probly a combination of the two. Smokeroller, I think I have found a good load for 168 grain SMKs... 42.2 grains of Varget in Lapua brass with GM210M primers. I am now working up loads for 175 SMKs...

    Who else has tried to use Berger VLDs in an AR-10?

    I just tried to do some load developing for my LWRC REPR today using some Berger 175 VLDs and couldn't have had worse luck. They will not feed into my gun. It looks to me like the ogive is too flat so as the round is being pushed into the chamber the tip of the bullet doesn't go up fast enough...

    Leveling a bubble level...

    You all say you have to have a scope tube mounted level not a rail mounted level.... What if your scope has a 40mm tube? Any suggestions?

    Hey Dogtown! I use a Magneto too. I haven't been using mine for load development either. Just in fear that it might affect barrel vibration and change my load development results. Is that your reasoning too? Have you tried it or seen a difference?
