    Need opinion on stock for Rem 700

    Go with the B&C, I have the Medalist Tactical with 'hook' stock with a normal 700 sps .308 (with a timney) I got better results from mine after bedding, so you may also want to try your hand at that after purchase.

    Jump or Jam the 155 Palma???

    I have mine seated at 2.775 and saw an increase in accuracy over the longer seating depths. This was with IMR 8208 XBR powder.

    PTG DBM & Alpha Ind Mags

    I have a B&C with PTG DBM and I have one Alpha mag and it has worked flawlessly. I was going to order another one, but I got a good deal on two AICS mags.

    How much slop in a mag well is acceptable?

    bed some new pillars in the stock so that the dbm is at the right depth (mag seats, feeds). Then bed around the DBM well...ran into a similar problem while in-letting my stock myself. It was a solid fix and has worked exceptionally well for me.

    College Budget Rifle

    I did both the inlet and bedding jobs myself...its a combination of being kind of tightfisted and a sense of pride. I do all my own gun work, and I'm very happy with the results. The two things that improved accuracy the most were the trigger and the stock (especially after bedding)

    I have the same one in my B&C Medalist Hook stock. I did the in-letting myself....its more work than you think but it was worth it because I like doing all my own work. Buy 2 long screws to attach the DBM to the action through the stock so that you line everything up right. I skipped that step...

    NEED RECOMMENDATION FOR 100-200 yd .308 bullet for score

    I now shoot 155 grains exclusively out of my 26in 1/12 .308 barrel...they are phenomenal, well under 1/2MOA at 100 and 200, right at 1/2MOA at 400 and at 800 I shot just under a 10inch group (but that is shooter error, not the gun/bullet combo) i initially used 168s but the 155s work so much...

    What's your round count with 308 win. and 155 scenars

    I'm just over the 2000 mark with fairly hot loaded 155 grains (A-max, scenars and most recently smks) all running about 2950fps on my factory barrel 700 spsv, if anything it has been getting more accurate of late

    Alpha Industries????

    When I ordered a mag from him earlier this year it took forever for it to be delivered. I believe Alpha Industries is just one guy (or a very small operation) and he can't keep pace with demand. The mags are great though, and I will be purchasing another one soon
