    .260 w/ 16" barrel?

    Re: .260 w/ 16" barrel? I just built one with an 18" barrel, on the theory that it will still shoot flatter than a .308 with the same length barrel. If your only reason for a shorter barrel is to save on weight, you might consider fluting or a slimmer barrel contour.
