Rifle Scopes Scope on a scope

I would say you could likely do both like some do with spotting scopes. But, majority are for 3 gunners engaging point blank targets

    Most useful accessories on atlas

I wrote to see your thoughts as I bought the cleat feet. I dont like that they will roll over if you lean in hard enough. I just ordered one for a buddy today and he is going with the spikes. I like the look of that on the rifle KillShot.

    bipods

I only like the pan feature because I mainly hunt. Running coyotes is the reason I like the pan feature. Track your target before it stops or after it runs without readjusting position. SOTA I think you will like the Harris with the notched legs.

    bipods

I stand corrected. Although the technicality got me. It is an add on to the bipod. The Harris is great and I had one before the atlas. I do like that the atlas come with all the function in a very clean little package. Light and not bulky. You are spending 190 retail to make the Harris do what...

    bipods

Atlas bipod can be had for 220. I just upgraded after getting to play with one on another rifle. They pop up here occasionally, but they go really fast. Atlas has cant and pan ability too. The Harris has cant but no pan ability

Rifle Scopes March Scopes: Looking for comments from those who have used them

I just received my march 2.5-25 about a month ago. I am waiting for things to warm up and to get my rifle back from the smith to really put it to the test. I went this route due to wanting ability to have covered turrets in a high end light scope. My set up is mainly geared toward hunting and...

    Necking down to 7mm-08

I have also gone down from 308 to 7mm-08. Noticed the length issue but after all case prep I didn't notice seating problems. And they shoot just fine.

Favorite Long range Bullet for 7m-08

Second the 140 gr Berger. Have shot my 7mm-08 out to half mile with a stock Winchester model 70 extreme weather SS. Able to hit 6" plate at 875. The wind does very little to these. I run varget behind mine.

Thanks for the review. Have been debating on one of these for a while now.

Rifle Scopes How do you use the reticle subtensions in a SPF variable scope for hunting ?

The use in hunting of any sub tensions would be useful if you knew the approximate size of the animal you are hunting. If you know this, you can do some calculations ahead of time to get how many MOA or MIL that measurement equals at various yardages. Using the SFP reticle you would be able to...

Vectronix Terrapin vs Leica 1600 CRF

Good objective review on the pros and cons. Looking to see how the new Leica geovids hold up against the vectronix. I am in the market for one likely this summer/ fall. I need a rangefinder that is fully reliable to range targets like deer and coyotes to 5-600 yards in any weather

This compared to new Leica? Ay thoughts?

    Scope mounts

Don't skimp on the foundation for your scope. Good one pice picatinny bases can be found but you will pay for it. This is not an area to dismiss like I said. After that, the rings I have just used are the M10 from ARC. Excellent setup

Rifle Scopes In need of some basic understanding of MOA vs Mil

Pick one and use it. Each system will enable you to hit targets with enough practice.

Rifle Scopes No Self Control. Vortex 2.5-10x32 FFP on Order

I agree with the thought on FFP and holdover at low power. I would see it as an advantage in speed to zoom on a target when stalking or ambushing. Can give u quick range estimation and no need to dial holdover. Pick your hash and shoot.
