    Robar RC50 Thoughts?

50's aren't like most of the bolt actions we deal with regularly so there aren't really a lot of chassis options because there is no standard action. In general you should probably buy it in the configuration you want it in. I think the Robar guns were built on Mcmillan. The price is probably ok...

Are there any common wildcat 50 subsonic choices for a bolt action other than the Whispers?

They list dies brass and ammo for the 510 Whisper but I find it weird they don't list that as an available caliber for their barrels. Looks like the only "Whisper" they chamber is 300 Blackout. The website seems to be up and running now but when they first were bought out it was a mess. I don't...

Are there any common wildcat 50 subsonic choices for a bolt action other than the Whispers?

That's probably the way to go. I wish somebody like Starline would make brass. Did they ever make some? They don't really show anything current on it and the old webpage said coming 2018

Are there any common wildcat 50 subsonic choices for a bolt action other than the Whispers?

That's probably the easiest but the rim makes bolt action use problematic from my understanding. There are guys that loaded the 750 amax for a good subsonic load. I think there might have even been a reamer made for that combo.

Are there any common wildcat 50 subsonic choices for a bolt action other than the Whispers?

When looking through various forums I've found numerous one offs but was wondering if there is one that is easier or more common (as common as such an oddball can be). Maybe a smaller Smith that has his own take on it. I've heard of one using cut off WSM cases but couldn't find much on it. Even...

    300 blackout bolt gun

Howa made them for sure. Brownells has the barreled actions listed still but out of stock. That's where I got mine. One of these days I'll put it together. If I was doing it over I would probably just grab the AR mag Ruger...

I'm guessing they have 223 family rounds in a smaller action.

Special can? Seems like there's a ton of 35 cans out now and you can get a MG7k 338 for $500 msrp

Are any of the custom actions better suited for a 223 build?

How new are they. A while back they told me they didn't have anything that would work with the American/Magpul stock combo. The Ruger poly mags and Magpul 223 AICS don't hardly work at all.

Are any of the custom actions better suited for a 223 build?

Ha I knew what you'd recommend before I posted. The easily changed bolt heads are a huge advantage. I know barrel nuts aren't as easy but the idea I can grab a savage prefit and screw it in is also pretty handy.

Are any of the custom actions better suited for a 223 build?

Any problem feeding out of AICs mags? I ask because I currently have a Ruger American 223 that won't feed out of them and it's a known problem with their 3 lug bolts and apparently only a problem on 223 stuff as the 308/6.5 have no such issues.

Are any of the custom actions better suited for a 223 build?

Anything that stands out or are all the quality actions on par with each other? Goal would be to shoot long 223 out of AICS mags possibly 223AI.

Savage 110 PCS. How are the ballistics on a 6.5 CM from a 10.5" barrel?

Most guys want to use them like a normal rifle so they will want a RH bolt. I guess it's possible they do a right bolt but they never did with the Striker

Anyone got a Ruger Precision Rifle in .223/5.56 accuracy questions.

You know the Ruger Precision 223 was discontinued quite a while ago right? I wish I would have grabbed one up. Unless you have a line on one they aren't easy to find and the last few I saw sold for premium money.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

It's been a long time but I am pretty sure it is. I sent mine to Jeff(CDI) as he would install them for free if I remember correctly. He ran a great operation and I wish I had sent more his way.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I have the CDI bottom metal and my mags have always felt loose but never had any problems feeding.
