Night Vision PVS-27/26 Max magnification experience?

As far as pure resolution at higher magnification goes the CNVD LR will outperform everything, the 26, the 27 and the 30 will not resolve as well as it does. It's a more powerful clip on in it's magnification and de-magnification. As such it can go high on the magnification scale of Day optics...

Night Vision green vs white phosphor...

It should be called light blue phosphor in my opinion, at least that's my impression of it. I have been waiting on high quality WPTs for a while now and have been skeptical to say the least. I saw some foreign made stuff a couple of years back and was way less than impressed. That being said I...

    Night Vision Pvs 26?

It sounds like you just happen to have a high signal to noise tube. Knights was usually pretty good about their tube selection but it sounds like a low SNR tube got through. Is it that typical super smooth green of ITT yesteryear? Before the Excellis change over and down size? May I suggest an...

Night Vision What Counterweight with dual PVS-14's

Woodland cammies, M-65 field jackets (green in the MC for many years), Alice packs, LC-2 field Gear, PASGT Armor and helmets and hey the Marine Corps had just gotten progressive, we were sporting M16-A2s and had the First AV8-Bs. Still had to float mostly on LPHs but I got to go on a NEWER LHA...

Night Vision What Counterweight with dual PVS-14's

BAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA ! ! ! Two Engines... twice the weight and all the potential to fail just the same... Wait was that my cynical outside voice? One of my First jobs in the Marine Corps (circa 1987) was to modify PVS-5s for use on the old SPH flight helmet. Indeed a trip down...

Night Vision What Counterweight with dual PVS-14's

Yeah me too! I am going to really date myself here but I developed a near pathological hatred of extra batteries for the PRC 77... Whats the weight on a pair of Glock Mags and your extra battery set up?

Night Vision Flir RS 32. 35mm

Whupps I miss read! Yes I was talking about the mono not the new RS series or Rifle scopes. My Mistake!

Night Vision Flir RS 32. 35mm

They are a decent mid range thermal mono. The 320 core will find man sized targets easily out to 500 yards. That is detection not identification. Its roughly a 1X view through the unit so you can get some decent range out of it. They have a digital 2X but its quite grainy. Things I am not in...

    Night Vision SPRS Scope

I am "OFCOURSE" biased as I sell the SPRS but some of the things I like over the 740 is A. Aluminium body vs plastic (found on later 740s). B. Variable gain standard. C. Better eyepiece that doesn't have the outer quarter distortion that the 740 has. D. Better reticle construction...

Night Vision INTENS™ Night Vision Revolution

Yeah until someone rolls in with a Gen 3 tube that performs to Current industry standards for $1200.00 I am not going to get excited. Also AEO repots don't count either.

Night Vision INTENS™ Night Vision Revolution

I think this might be their attempt at gen 3. If it is then it will be insanity expensive for no real gains over current US made Gen 3. One thing its P22 phosphor so its as lime green as it gets!

Night Vision I2 Technologies announces the NEW Ti HSIFR!!!

Just supplied a number of PVS-14s to an LEA that had a rather unique mounting requirement that clamped the unit around the IFR. Their mount would squeeze even an Aluminum IFR. This Ring solved their problem in spades! plus they got spiffy new PVS-14s to boot!

Night Vision Teaser pics of our new ANVIS 9 Up Armor!

Howdy all! A little update here We have been working on your exact request and it seems to be a solution to a problem that has been corrected. As we began having a version built, a NEW one piece ANVIS monocular housing has been produced and it has been significantly strengthened with a...

Night Vision Clip on NV question onto my 308 semi auto

What length of Barrel is that? I would suggest going to a longer float tube and and getting rid of that FSB. The list is Endless on rails but if your going the Scope /Clip on Route, a rails expense is nothing in comparison to the clip on!

Night Vision Boar down with a hang fire.

We had a SHOCKING number of bad primers (36 of 1000) out of a box of Federal XM 193 recently that were receiving good solid primer strikes and not going off. Stuff like that is unnerving at best! Especially when you staring at a you big ole end "o" world ammo store...
