Night Vision MOD Armory Camille test drives the new Dual PVS 14

At this time, the Monocular Mounting Arms (MMA) are specific to the PVS 14 only. In fact, they are specific to the PVS 14 being either L3 or ITT. When ordering, you need to specify which Brand of PVS 14 you have and if you are mixing and matching, let us know which position you want what arm in...

Night Vision Mod Armorys 308 pvs-14rc

Howdy The details of exactly how ARC technology works is proprietary. I could go into a long dissertation on it but, number 1. I am bound by an NDA. Number 2. (and to quote Mark Larue) I am not going to teach my competition how to compete. ARC technology is something totally new to the Night...

Night Vision Mod Armorys 308 pvs-14rc

There has only been one SMALL run of a shorter Height riser for the DLOC and it was still too high for the LT110. I think the only thing that will work on the LT110 is the QD LT133. If we get enough demand we might consider a run of a super low mount. I haven't played with a Badger Snap but I...

Night Vision Mod Armorys 308 pvs-14rc

Alas we don't have a DLOC that is short enough to fit on the back of the LT-110 and Line up correctly . The DLOC was designed for close mounting to EO-techs like the EXPS 3-0.

Night Vision Mod Armorys 308 pvs-14rc

I don't know, blasting across the desert in a TomCar completely blacked out (no supplemental IR AT ALL, WHOSE YER DADDY?) on dual tubes would be close second.... LOL nice try! ! !

Night Vision Mod Armorys 308 pvs-14rc

Ok are you referring to this part of the MOD Armory Add? "A night vision monocular specifically designed for recoil ruggedness and shock protection, the PVS-14RC is rate for .308 Winchester and larger calibers depending on custom configuration." The custom configuration part means that if...

Night Vision Mod Armorys 308 pvs-14rc

OHHHHH there very much is a recoil issue out there. I can show you stacks of recoil damaged tubes that we have collected over the years. I blew up an ITT tube. In fact, said tube was one of the prettiest tubes I have ever owned and definitely one of the nicest I have ever seen. If this tube had...

Night Vision Mod Armorys 308 pvs-14rc

We will be be letting this cat all the way out of the bag shortly. But, in short, this a Super PVS-14 that has a Fimless based Recoil Compensationg tube that Can stand up to Recoil on a .308 platform. In addition it has an upgraded mounting point in the form of the infinity focus stop. The...

Night Vision Why no IIT Generation FLAG discussion?

The term Flag is a marketing name applied by Aramasight to an existing tube they are selling. Where did you read that Filmless tubes failed military recoil testing? I am going to dispel an Internet myth, Filmless tubes are the strongest on the market today! Everyone who says otherwise is...

Night Vision Why no IIT Generation FLAG discussion?

First off don't be confused by the term "IIT." That is an abreviation for Image Intensifier Tube, not to be confused with the Image Intensifier manufacturer ITT Excelis of Roanoke Virgina. The habit of calling it an "IIT" is a hold over from ATN days. You see the people that started Armasight...

Night Vision L3 AN/PVS-18 Night Vision Monocular (M983)

The Camera Adapter is a simple clamp style affair that allows the mounting of a step up or step or down camera ring adapter. We are working on a better adapter than the L3 version. It will be akin to our PVS 7 adapter. 15s and 18s share the same optics so yes they will take the same attachments.

Night Vision Ordering PVS14 Monday; am I missing anything?

WOW your absolutely right! 2000 meter is what they are advertising... I have to say that goes from overly optimistic into outright exaggeration!

Night Vision Ordering PVS14 Monday; am I missing anything?

Are you sure on that 2000 meter spec on the PEQ-15? I don't remember PEQ-15s reaching anywhere near 2000 meters of Illumination even the 45 MW high powered models were not that bright. As far as the DBAL-D2 goes, I was involved in the development of that unit and our test models were able to...
