    I prefer Tikka for hunting. They are very accurate, but I would replace the stock for something more to your liking. I am not familiar with good replacements for it though.

    I think the tip of the chevron would be fine. I don't think it will do anything a regular crosshair wouldn't, but I'd say its fine.

    I asked a guy at tractor supply for specific dates, he told me to sign up for their email newsletter. He said that would be the best way for me to know and that they have multiple sales throughout the year. I think Memorial Day or Labor Day may have one, those two stick in my head for some reason.

    I own one and love it. I have the MLR2.0 reticle. It was my first high end scope purchase for my first high end rifle, it met my expectations. Sport optics gave me a good price too.

    This is what I bought. I have no comparison to the fatboy but I like mine just fine. My uncle bought the same one, which is why I picked mine up. I think I paid $1069 tax included or something like that, but I went to the store. I love it.

    I'd say its decent, probably like all the other brands out there. Use to you could build your own for cheaper than that, but alas the times have changed.

    I think if I wanted one on my base I'd get the USO one. I don't see the point in getting a new base just because there is a level there, I'd take a more commonly used and tested brand anyway.
