    700 5r DIY ptg inlet/ first year with 5r

Nice Job. My first 308 was a mil spec 5r. It was the 24" version. I'm with you on the HS stock. Never felt like the stock fit right for me either. Nice paint job as well.

    One Bullet for .308

huh, one bullet to do everything? 210 berger hunting vld..... do a ladder with varget and a GAP thunder ranch. Out of a 22" barrel and titan brake, I need 11.7 mils to a 1000 yards. Subsonic? Maybe. But who the hell cares if I can consistently hit what I'm aiming at. Performed my ladder...

    Contemplating new build

I'm so glad I didn't open my first post with "y'all know what I mean"....... yeah I'd like to build a shorty 308, mine is 22 with a titan brake. Went with a heavy creedmoor next. I'm waiting on a can here in PA and the wait times appear to be around 10 months. so make sure you donate 200$...

    Contemplating new build

I went with the T5a on my last build. I have the 100% carbon fill with molded midnight. 2 left flush cups and 3 swivel studs( you can always take out). got the mini chassis. my only regret was not doing the badger EFR inlet and having it done. I have 2 T5s and love them. everyone calls them...

    Surgeon Action???

I received mine 2 Fridays ago. I completely forgot I was on the list. I sent it back out that day to start another Creedmoor. If Kay hadn't called me I was building a 6.5 saum, dammit. Now that will have to wait. I have wanted a surgeon action for 5 years now.

    Surgeon riffle build

I got a call from them as well. 2 years for an action that I never though I would get. I sent mine to pierce engineering and going with a Bartlein MTU in the 2014 ax chassis Going with a heavy creedmoor, since the titanium action they made me shoots one ragged hole. Good luck with your build.

Nice creedmoor. Im having one built same contour with the ax chassis. Will be my second Creedmoor. Yours should be a tack driver.

    Manners Elite Tactical Stocks

It depends on your goal. If you are worried about weight, go elite. I needed to be under 12 lbs for a comp. So I went with a ti action, fluted barrel and elite shell. I would go with another in a heartbeat.

    Manners Elite Tactical Stocks

I have a t5a in the normal shell as well. Both have the mini chassis. The elite stock is about a lb less And the texture is a little rougher but having the carbon fiber showing gives a nice look.

need suggestions for a long range hunting and target build.

There is a savage predator max in a creedmoor for sale on 65creedmoor forum (sorry if this gets attacked). Accustock and accutrigger with a varmint barrel. The guy want around 1750 for it and the mark 4 My brother has this same gun in a 243 and not being a savage fan. I think you should got...

How often should I change my tumbler media?

I've had the same tumbling media for over 4 years now. I've gone from 200-500 rounds a year to about 1000rounds a year. So I may not use mine like some do. Range brass gets scavenged up fast, so i haven't been cleaning that any more. As long as the black soot on the outside of the necks comes...
