    Night Vision Which pvs 14

So you accuse me of saying something I didn't and then say well not technically in this forum but in others. Then you chase me around the nets to dig up dirt. LOL. I have seen this before! 80-90% of your post since you became a member are bad mouthing, calling people out or pointing out what...

    Night Vision Which pvs 14

I see you edited yor post before I could finish typing. Lol. Glad that you retracted you statement of bad mouthing others because I did no such thing. I just asked where the "nasty rumors" where in this thread. Since you've started reading this forum have you always looked up posting members on...

Night Vision Best hog Ranch in TX?

T-bone Outfitters gets my vote. I've hunted with him numerous times and have never come up empty. I went just last week and he got us within 60 yards of 3 different sounders with the largest having 50 pigs and the smallest was 15. He has around 1,000 acres of pecan orchards to hunt and...

    Night Vision Night hunting question

I agree with everyone that an IR laser will work fine at these distances but I still prefer an optic. I hunt pigs on a regular basis for a few corn farmers. The first shot with a laser is no problem but once they scatter I prefer some sort of reticle. It's my opinion but I don't like leading...

Night Vision Pvs-14 with 1.11 halo

It is a little high if you never intend to put it on a rifle. That being said, asking if it's worth having cant be answered with the info you gave. Are the rest of the specs good, image quality and price????

    Night Vision Prefered therma device

That is something to think about! Maybe a W-1000 and a set of NVG's If you decide to go with a clip-on seriously consider going with the L3 LWTS. Don't get me wrong, I think the T-70 is a good unit and the battery compartment is pure sex BUT from what I have seen the L3 LWTS is a better performer

Night Vision Crimson Trace CMR 201 IR Rail Master L.O. (read NO Bloom)

To see an IR laser you have to be using night vision. They do make the same laser in visible.

Night Vision You guys rockin' PVS 14's

I hog hunt on a regular basis and run a PVS-14 helmet mounted on the non-dominant eye to navigate/stalk. When I get close I move the 14 behind an EOTech using a D-LOC mount. I also carry a 3x magnifier in my pocket for the longer shots. If the pigs bolt on me while the PVS-14 is still on my...

    Night Vision Prefered therma device

I have shot these side by side and although the T-70 is a nice clip-on thermal I think the L3 LWTS is a nicer unit. In my opinion the only thing the T-70 wins is the battery compartment. You can throw a handful of batteries in it and it will work however they land. If you need/want a clip-on go...

Night Vision Crimson Trace CMR 201 IR Rail Master L.O. (read NO Bloom)

I've been running one of these LO models on my suppressed FNX 45 for a couple of months. Works like a pistol laser should. Thanks Pete

Night Vision Best bang for your buck in thermal imaging optics?

Going with your heading of best bang for your buck I'd say the Raytheon W-1000. Check out MOD Aromory or I2 technologies. They are both vendors here.

Night Vision NV hunting...IR laser question

Rade, I do a lot of pig hunting w/ NV here in Texas and I use both. I run the PVS-14 on my helmet for driving/navigation and if shots are 75 yds or less I will take them with the laser. When the distance gets out past 75 yds I like to weapon mount it. When going this route the PVS-14 is...
