    Re: Quittin Dippin. Tips or Tricks?? Stop spending money on tobacco and spend it on firearms from fellow Hide members! I quit smoking by not buying them anymore. That's worked for me for about 2-1/2 years. Seems too simple but it worked for me.

    Re: Ordered a Colt 6940 In my experience there is often a best-ammo for each firearm. If you think your gun should be shooting tighter groups than it is, it's time to experiment. If you don't handload, buy more expensive ammo. You do get what you pay for in ammo.

    Re: Talk to me about precision, long-range AR15s The best I have ever owned was a Bushmaster Varminter with a 24" fluted barrel. Right out of the box it was flat out awesome at 300 yds. Easily shot 1/2 MOA with a Weaver V16 optic on top. Handloads were Varget with 50gr CT ballstic...

    Re: Favorite Rifle? For accuracy beyond my ability, M1A Supermatch and a Busmaster Varminter for long guns and a bull barrel Ruger MkII for the short stuff. The WWII era M1 is always fun when the last empty pops out too.
