    Ammo Recommendations for Precision Rifle (.308, 1 in 10 twist)

    I've had one 3-shot group that measured exactly 1/2" at 100 yards. But I think luck was on my side there..the first shot was even my cold (clean) bore shot. On average though, I get 3/4 MOA from the GM308M when I do my part. The S&B 168 HPBT round is very accurate too out of my gun.

    I have a SPS Tactical AAC-SD and no factory load has come close to the Federal Gold Medal Match 168 SMK (GM308M). Only tricky part is finding it. For 300-400 yards its awesome. The only other load that I am optimistic about is the Lapua Scenar 155. I hopefully will be trying that out soon....but...

    Which bottom metal & DetMag for Rem 700

    Yeah, I did look at the Surgeon and they are only about $100 more than the Wyatt's. However, I am reading that they don't drop right in to a stock cut for a Remington 700 SA. Did you have to do any modifying to get it to fit?

    Which bottom metal & DetMag for Rem 700

    Is the Wyatt's M4 DetMag/bottom metal the best bang for the buck for my R700 SPS Tactical? Looking for something that will drop in to my B&C Tac Med 2. Any other manufacturers to consider other than Wyatt's? 5-round magazine preferred. Thanks.

    Just trying to get a general idea here. Does anyone have a table or data for 175gr SMK loads? Preferably factory loads. Found quite a bit of data out there for the FGMM 168 SMK from a 20" barrel, but nothing really for the 175. Thanks in advance.

    rem 700 sps tac magazine conversion

    Wyatt's M4 detachable magazine assembly. Best bang for the buck. Stocky's has them. If money is no object, I would go with the Badger Ordnance M5. Hey, Midway has them on sale right now for $360 I believe ;)
