    Rifle Scopes Rangefinder question

Re: Rangefinder question I have found that light plays a role as well, in the bright sun of the afternoon it will not read on objects that it will in the morning and evening.

    hs precision worst stock ever

Re: hs precision worst stock ever I know just the feeling, had a similar situation myself recently with Leupold. It is painfully apparant that the "customer" has been deleted from customer service at most companies.

    Remington 243

Re: Remington 243 Did you figure out why the cases were sticking, its not the extractor that's causing it, they should not stick in the chamber?

Rifle Scopes Need scope re-mounting, boresight, and adjustments

Re: Need scope re-mounting, boresight, and adjustments It does help to at least know how to do it, how do you know if something is wrong if you have no idea what is right. Nothing wrong with paying someone to do it if that is your thing I guess.

AR , cheaper to build or buy ?

Re: AR , cheaper to build or buy ? Oh yes indeed build it, the knowledge you will gain will last you a lifetime and it is fun and rewarding as well but be warned it is an addiction, every extra part turms into a build. Good Luck!

    Ar-15 Which Barrel?

Re: Ar-15 Which Barrel? One thing to keep in mind, if you upgrade to a heavy barrel you will also need a free float rail/tube of some sort, you did not say if you have a standard AR but there is more to it than just a barrel in some cases.

new to the forums, and already asking questions

Re: new to the forums, and already asking questions I would recommend the Remington 700 LTR in .308, a bit more than $500 however the 20" barrel is nice and mine was a tack driver out of the box, plus with the .308 there is a wide range of factory loaded ammo options as you mentioned it may...

    Ruger Mini 14 good?? Bad??

Re: Ruger Mini 14 good?? Bad?? My Son has one with a scope and it works well, he has killed many deer with it. It has the factory Ruger rings which I think are better than the M14 style mount I had on mine decades ago.

Re: Parallax for 10x scope - Really needed? "1000M shots nothing special" he says? I have done this exactly 3 times in my life, twice at 1000 yards and once at 1000M, I did hit within the X ring all 3 times on a silhoutete target and once thru the tape on the first 1000 yard shot...

Rifle Scopes Why Does Everyone hate Leupy Mark 4's So Much

Re: Why Does Everyone hate Leupy Mark 4's So Much I got so worked up I forgot about the original topic, I do not hate Leupold scopes, the 2 I own are older vintage and are great for what I do with them. I love the old Ultra line, they should have built upon that and they would have had...

Rifle Scopes Why Does Everyone hate Leupy Mark 4's So Much

Re: Why Does Everyone hate Leupy Mark 4's So Much Leupold customer service is unacceptable as has already been said, I sent an Ultra M3a back to them 4 times before they had it right, seems the individual that checks for a clear sight picture can not see very well as mine too had black spots...
