Got some time in this one... Its a 308, all stainless. I rechambered the Rock 5R barrel. My load at 2.81" oal sits 10 thousandths of the lands. After resetting the barrel the length is 23". Installed a bolt knob. I skim bedded it. The stock and receiver fit together like a tight glove. Inletted stock and installed CDI bottom metal. For the finish, I actually try alumahyde II. So far, I am quite impressed. Trigger is set at 2.5lbs. Seekins 20moa base with an IOR 2.5-10 perched atop. It was a one ragged holer at 100 meters before all this. I'm interested to see how it performs Saturday after the re-work. Comments, questions and concerns will be appreciated.
