    Re: 308 build ?s I have a 1-10 twist 18" shooting 175 SMK and 190s. No issues and great accuracy. I would stick with the 10 twist to give you the ability to shoot what bullet you want.

    Rem Milspec 5r and Mcmillan-----HELP!

    So I get asked a ? Would a Rem 5r barreled action fit into my Mcmillan A5 that is cut for a Hart Heavy BC? Or would the barrel channel gap be too big between the stock and barrel? Help, I dont have the barreled action to try to fit it, I only have the spare stock.

    Re: Possible to clean inside of a rem700 bolt? +1 for the Kleimendorf (sp?) tool. It is worth the $ and saves broken shoelaces. Clean out the interrior, lube the threads with grease and fire!

    I bought a 13.7" carbine lenght gas barrel to cut down for my PDW project. I am wanting a 7.5" barrel, is it going to be possible to cut right on the gas holeand then thread and crown. Keeping the barrel between the 7.25-7.5" length?
