    Sako TRG22

Re: Sako TRG22 TRG's fit so well, the standard stock is way better than, imho, the AI and other mcmillian type options. The standard TRG trigger is the best, I repeat the best trigger you will find on any rifle, it can be set to damn near whatever tickles your fancy ands it works really well...

Great problem with the H-S Precision rifle.

Re: Great problem with the H-S Precision rifle. I have thankfully never seen a rifle blow up either through material failure or too hot a load but I have seen a couple of pistols that have went boom thanks to double charging. The 1 thing you notice is that it looks like there was an...

    rear sandbag vs monopod

Re: rear sandbag vs monopod I have used a fist, a shooting glove, a monopod on my AI and a Cadwell bag, and the bag is by far the best and most adaptable. If you get a bag dont fill it to absolute capacity, leave a little space in it then you can squeeze it for small elevation movement. If it...

Load for TRG 22 for long ranges?

Re: Load for TRG 22 for long ranges? Bugaboo. I didnt give my OAL as I have found on 3 different TRG's you will have 3 different chamber lengths. I did try loading to different lengths, i.e. .20, .40, .60., .80, .100, .120 back off the lands but found no real difference on group size at 100m...

    STEYR SSG 69PII Police

Re: STEYR SSG 69PII Police I learned to shoot on an SSG69 .243. This gun broke 2 mags and 1 mag well. My friends SSG69 .308 also broke mags and magwells. These guns were pampered range guns, no stalking or off range abuse. Accuracy was OK, about on par with a standard R700Police with factory...

    SSG 04 vs. Sako TRG

Re: SSG 04 vs. Sako TRG There is a reason why there are 1000's of TRG's about and very few SSG04's about.......any Steyr that I have shot, an SSG69 and an Elite have been OK and just OK, not in TRG league though.

A question about going from 100, to 200, yards...

Re: A question about going from 100, to 200, yards... Quite correct sorry for the confusion, 1 inch group gun at 100 should hold 2 inches at 200 which is 1 moa.

A question about going from 100, to 200, yards...

Re: A question about going from 100, to 200, yards... If your gun/load is holding 1moa at 100 it should hold 2 moa or slightly less at 200. There are variations due to bullet stabilization and other factors but a decent rifle with godd loads should shoot 1 inch at 200m.
