    Factory Ammo vs Reloading

Re: Factory Ammo vs Reloading Another thing is I enjoy reloading. It is pretty satisfying to start off with a benchful of components and then work them up into a load that will shoot 1 hole groups or wins you competitions. I dont enjoy the pistol stuff so much, when I know I have to load...

    Factory Ammo vs Reloading

Re: Factory Ammo vs Reloading Bottom line is get handloading. Not only will you save a bucketload of cash you will also find a sweet load for the rifle or pistol you are using.

    Factory Ammo vs Reloading

Re: Factory Ammo vs Reloading It is definatly WORTH reloading, I couldnt afford to shoot all my gear if I had to buy factory, that applies to my ipsc pistols right up to my fclass and classic rifles.

    Lee Enfield Sniper Rifle

Re: Lee Enfield Sniper Rifle The No4T is a fine ww2 sniper rifle. The Turrets have a grease inside them that gums up after a period of time, that is why they will not move. The scope needs stripped and the old grease removed and new grease added, a bit of a specialist job, there are a few...

    Rifle cleaning advice sought after

Re: Rifle cleaning advice sought after Not even gonna go to the break in point as everybody has their own ideas about it but I have some opinions on cleaning. I used to clean after I fired the gun now I clean my .308's every 150 to 200 rds. Accuracy does not suffer and it saves a bit of time...

Re: TRG 22 folder? I shot a friends folder after shooting my own fixed version for 3 years and I have to say I found my version more comfy (obviously) but was mightily impressed with the folder and how solid it felt. The range of adjustment was superb, if you cant get this stock to fit you...

Rifle Scopes Mil dot scope Recommendations

Im entering my first Sniper competition next April and I need a Mil dot scope to fit on my TRG. We have to do our own rangefinding using our scope reticles. I cannot afford a NF or a S+B. Is there any mid price scopes that you have experience with that I should consider?

When do you clean your rifle barrel.

Re: When do you clean your rifle barrel. Cleaning my .308 now. About 250 rds through it and a look up the barrel reveals it is full of crap.

    Badass rifle!!!

Re: Badass rifle!!! My friend has a RPA Rangemaster 308. It is an awesome piece of kit but very heavy. Out of the box accuracy was under half an inch at 100, muzzle brake works very well and the trigger is spot on and easily adjustable. Pretty expensive here in UK, about the same as an AI AW...
