    Awesome. Also have a PMII, I think the Sp-4001 will be the way to go once my AT comes in.. another option I’m considering would be the Spuhr rings, as they would get the PMII mounted 5mm lower. I do feel that a mount is a better option though..

    I measured 10.6 inches. That’s from the inside base to the inside of the padding which sits between zipper and rifle. You could probably get a little more but not an extra inch.

    That sounds like the way to go!!! I actually bought mine from Cleavers.... Too bad I took me ages to finally put a scope on it and do some shooting. The 22lr with Vortex pst ffp got a workout though. :)
