    Good 5.56 bolt gun

Prime 77 is a 223 round. I can’t find anything on tikka’s website that indicates shooting 5.56 would be OK. That is the information I am looking for.

    Good 5.56 bolt gun

Do you shoot 5.56 in the Tikka? I have several thousand rounds of 77 Grain mag tech Hpbt that is very accurate in my knights armament ARs. I enjoy shooting a bolt gun as well, and thus, I’m looking for something where I can use the same ammo.

    Good 5.56 bolt gun

I have done a search, and I am aware that the 223 variants are around. I just could not find a definitive answer. I am aware of the Ruger PR. The only question is whether there is a good factory gun, in addition to the Ruger, that can safely shoot 5.56? Why, because I have stacks of 5.56...

    Suppressor vs. Muzzle Brake

I did not notice much increase in recoil when I put the can over the brake. It was extremely slight if anything.

    Suppressor vs. Muzzle Brake

Underneath my suppressor is a brake. That is the way to go. Best of both worlds.

    Knights Armament

I don't disagree with a single word you said. At some point, however, you have to make a call based upon what others who have great experience have said, as you can't possibly test every rifle. KAC has earned the reputation it has.

    Knights Armament

Really, so videos prove it. LMAO, I could shoot a group at 50 yards and say it was 100 yards. At some point you have to look at the source and trust what they say. That is a reputable source.

    Knights Armament

Did you watch the video. The first 25 seconds of the video the guy says that.

    Knights Armament

Sweet baby jesus. This took a whole 5 seconds to find. I was wrong only 1.1inches. Clearly you should pass on it. I am sure Merle's frankenguns would put these to shame.

    Knights Armament

Sure, go ahead and fire your rifle 20,000 rounds without cleaning and then hold one MOA.. Let me know how that works out for you. That test is easily searchable online

Show me a broken Sr15 bolt and then you can complain about proprietary. Also, do you realize that you can run a non-sr15 bolt in an emergency situation?

Suppressor for Precision Bolt Action Rifle

Good point guys. I think I will shoot it first with just the thread protector, followed by the brake only, and then the suppressor and compare. This suppressor is not a direct thread. Common sense prevails again.

Suppressor for Precision Bolt Action Rifle

I have a Griffin Armament 30SD that I use on my semi. The question is whether this sort of suppressor is ideal for a precision rifle, or would I be better off with something else. For example, should I get a direct thread? Will it potentially affect accuracy. I am lucky enough that I just picked...

One .308 to rule them all

Which ones have been fielded by the military, refined over the years, and have become dependable and accurate guns. That is easy, the LMT, the SCAR and the Knights. There are the three to choose from if you want a well engineered and refined weapon system.

    Accuwedges

The optic sits on top of the upper. The acuwedge does nothing to increase accuracy. Once a round is chambered it is chambered.

Is a SCAR 17 really worth the asking price?

The rifle was designed to knock down man sized targets all day around 800 yards, not shoot tiny groups, although many have been known to do so. It has also been proven to be very reliable and capable of operating in adverse conditions. It really has very few peers with these requirements...

Is a SCAR 17 really worth the asking price?

The statement that the scars polymer lower is subject and prone to cracks is a myth. Also, if you know anything about the scar the way the lower works is entirely different than an AR lower. If you're so opposed to a polymer lower, good luck buying a pistol nowadays.
