    Re: Bad CCI Ammo Experience w/ Pics I have had CCI standard volicity that looked almost that bad. When I pulled it out of the plactic thing it sets in it pulled alot of the wax off. I pushed the rest off with my thimb nail. I shoot a bold gun and it seemed to shoot OK.

    We were at the range today shooting .22’s off the bench at 100 yards. I had the rifles zeroed pretty well. We were trying to shoot pennies off the top of a 2x4. We were managing to hit one every 4 or 5 shots. A very light rain storm rolls in and both .22’s rifles started hitting about 2” low...

    Re: Lead solvent for stainless steel baffels? I think you are mistaken. Some things are toxic to the touch, some have toxic fumes. Some may just bother the eyes, other may kill. If you don't have something positive to add, please stay off my post

    I have an Element that comes appart for cleaning. The baffles are stainless steel. I need to find a solvent that is safe for the stanless steel, but will strip the lead off of them. Any suggestions? Preferably somthing not to toxic.

    Re: 50yds to 100 - way different results. Help! Don't know if this helps, but my .22's will shoot several cheaper brands of ammo well at 50 yards, but only the higher end ammo will group at 100. I guess when you double the distance; the inconsistencies in the cheaper ammo comes out.
