    Re: 308 to a ?? I converted my Milspec 5R into a .260 Improved. I'm really hooked on those 139-142 gr. bullets. Really do well for long range...and easier to dope the wind. Guess I'd vote for any 6.5mm round that will fit in your action. Wayne
