    Yep, I got a 2-piece bolt setup. I don't recall why I made that decision, but oh well. As far as I can see, PTG offers the angled bolt handles with standard knobs, they only offer the straight bolt handles pre-threaded.

    With 147gr FMJs, mine will shoot 1 MOA groups. I didn't measure exactly, but out of a 4 round group, 3 holes were all touching, and the 4th was a little bit off. I haven't taken out the 175gr match ammo yet, will post new updates after my next range trip.

    I've needed to put a heavy crimp on second hand, resized 55 gr FMJBT bullets, but I've never had that issue with SMKs, they feed just fine even without a light crimp.

    I suppose you could take a little epoxy, fill in the cannelure, then polish each bullet flat? Or you could just accept that the cannelure is probably having a negligible effect on the ballistics of your round.

    The smith I give my AR to (who also happens to shoot a lot of competitions with his own rifles, AR & bolt) uses loctite around the barrel extension, and an anti-seize on the threads (that's just so it doesn't gall, I doubt there's any performance bonus there).
