    I think I'm going to use my 700 action, I'll get it trued, a bigger recoil lug, a bigger bolt handle, 20 moa base, cerakote it, slap on a new barrel and call it a day. This is mainly going to be a hunting rifle anyway so it doesn't have to get too fancy.

    3080-3200 fps that's moving. If I went with a 28" barrel do you think 3000 fps with 195gr berger's would be an achievable muzzle velocity?

    Cold, bitter freezing wet, New England cold. I want I lube for my ar-15 for when I coyote in the winter. Last year I had several malfunctions with a weapon system that doest give me any problems unit it get cold.

    From what i was told when i ask the guy at Defiance, they said that you should be able to go back to it if you use a center feed box mag. But without that it might not work because the rails had to be opened up. He did say that he has never gone back to a smaller cartridge so he wasnt 100%

    What are some of you guys using for Lube for your AR's? I'm in the Army so all we use is CLP, but I'm sure that there is a better product than what is supplied to me.
