    Unless wanting a different contour or barrel length, I’d go with the Rock Creek from Seekins. My factory Havak barrel shoots awesome and I’d have no problem having them replace with another.

    Huge Tikka fan as well- I’ve got a 20” .223 CTR that hammers with 40-75 gr projectiles. It’s one of my favorite rifles.

    This thread has been awesome. After lots of back and forth between a Zeus and Impact 737, I'm now impatiently waiting for my first Terminus Zeus QC to arrive in a couple days. I have an 18" bartlein 6mm blank ready to have chambered in 6CM. Going to make a great coyote rig!

    22-250 ai

    Thanks! I'm using 40.3 grains of RL-23 with a fed 210 primer. Pretty sure I'm .020" off the lands, but don't have my exact measurements handy. I formed brass with a mix of factory PPU 22-250 ammo and PPU brass loaded with RL-15. Basically loaded near max 22-250 loads and they formed great!

    Took my 22-250 AI out for a spin in Wyoming this weekend. It's shooting very well with the 88 gr ELDM over RL-23. Right at 3150 FPS. ES of 25 with SD of 9.     Took my TL3 chambered in 22-250 AI out for a spin in WY this weekend - it's shooting very well with the 88 gr ELDMs and RL-23.     88 eldm reliability

    I’m at 3150 out of a 22” 1:8 5r 22-250 AI. They do just fine for me at that speed. Haven’t tried pushing them any harder.

    I’d go 7 SAUM and be done with it. We kill several elk per year in WY (even with archery equipment) and the 7 SAUM will be plenty. Put a 168-180 gr projectile through the lungs and it’s game over.

    22 Creedmoor or a 6mm Creedmoor. Both will do the job extremely well at the distances you plan to shoot.
