    Suppressors Form 4 wait time

Depends what you get for the money. I would agree if someone printed off forms from Quicken Willmaker but it if was handled by a trust attorney that took their time with the client going through various scenarios with co-trustees, successor trustees and beneficiary scenarios, it could easily be...

Suppressors Surefire FA68AR and SpecWar 762 comparison this afternoon

OK, it is not apples and oranges. The guns were NOT identical by barrel length, barrel manufacturer or buffer weight. (Didn't even check buffers). Only cared about how the sound signature of these two setups compared. Only the ammo was the same, SSA 110 grain Accu-Bond Compared the two...

    Suppressors Silencer choice input

homerjays I plan to shoot a DD MK18 with SpecWar 556 against a DD MK18 with a Surefire SOCOM 556 RC in the next few weeks. The MK18 with the SpecWar 556 is my demo 556 and it is quite quiet. The other MK18 setup is a customer's gun and Surefire can, both awaiting ATF transfer approval. We...

I was able to submit 2 form 4's today but they did not go quickly. The system was very choppy. Darin

New AI AX and AT pics with rifle Weights!

I asked this question to the AINA rep last week at SHOT and he said the dovetail is not machined into the AT. The rail is bolted on with a few steel studs pinning the rail to the receiver for additional strength. I am guessing the other new models are the same but I did not specifically ask...

New AI rifles...what do you think...will they set a new trend, follow some others???

And Tom's booth is fairly close to the door. Tom, I plan on walking by the door close to your booth this morning to try to sneak a peak so it is probably a good idea to keep everything hidden. :-) Darin Reiss

What are my rechambering options for a .300 win mag AW?

I bought the AWM used from a member on this board and he has another 300 WM AWM that has over 50k rounds through it and he thought a barrel would be good for over 2500 rounds, give or take. I usually don't push cartridges to the max so I hope to get more. Bought it for shooting at distances...

Thughts on Long Range Accuracy Bipod?

I would vote for the Atlas. The bipod is very solid, adjustable and the manufacturer is great to work with. Darin

Where do you guys find info / learn about your customs?

+1 - call Mile High and buy a AI MKIII at the blowout price before they are all gone. You will not be disappointed! Darin

What are my rechambering options for a .300 win mag AW?

Mr_Happyface, 7 Rem Mag and 264 Win Mag share the .532 bolt face and basic cartridge length. I have an AI AWM in 300 WM and have considered the 7 Rem Mag as my first alternate caliber choice if I go with a different caliber. Darin

Why did Marines go from M70 Win to M700 Rem?

Wow, I almost forgot asking the question five years ago. I have had a few M70's built on FN actions since then. Very please with the design. Darin

I installed one of the " Ernie the Gunsmith" spring kits in a Win M70 270 WSM with MOA trigger and it is a nice improvement for the price. Darin

    Merry Christmas from Accuracy International

My oldest AW is a 95 model that was one of Malcolm Cooper's test guns that AINA estimated to have over 60,000 rounds though it before it was sold to CDNN in Texas and then bought by a fellow SH member and then traded to me several years ago. Still as reliable as the day it was new. Darin

    Suppressors 6.8 SBR Suppressor Recommendations?

I have been running a SAS LLC Reaper on a 9" 300 BLK and a 12.5" Noveske 6.8 and a 11.3" Wilson 6.8. I have also used a SPR/M4 on the 12.5" and a TBA 30P-1. Haven't tried the SWR SpecWar 7.62 on them yet but I know it would sound great based on everything else I have demo'ed it on. For a...

Rifle Scopes S&B 2.5-10x56 best moonlight pig hunting scope?

I am fairly new to hog hunting. Done it several times in the last ten years but just started night hunting this year. Brought down a ModArmory PVS-14 on a helmet mount and it worked awesome. Could see hogs, deer and cows over half a mile away with excellent moonlight. Had an IR pointer on a...
