Hunting & Fishing Current River, Mo.

Re: Current River, Mo. Check with the resort your floating with and they should have all the details. They changed regs on coolers and radios as well as really cracking down on underage drinkers.

6.8 SPC II failure to eject

Re: 6.8 SPC II I just got off the phone with John Lahue at Wilson Combat. He instructed me to send the Bolt to them and they would replace the extractor with a new bullet proof one at no charge to me.

6.8 SPC II failure to eject

Re: 6.8 SPC II The bolt, bcg has less than 150-200 shots. I will try that maybe and like you said take it from there.

6.8 SPC II failure to eject

Re: 6.8 SPC II I would say that there is quite a bit of tension on the extractor IMO. It takes a good bit of pressure on the back end to get the extractor to raise up/ outwards of the bolt. I would say that the force needed to pull the bolt and charging handle was normal to manually extract...

6.8 SPC II failure to eject

I was shooting my 6.8 SPC II this weekend. I had about about a 50% FTF rate. It seems that the extraction part in the cycle of operations was not happening. Bolt was coming to the rear and picking up the next round and jamming the next round into the spent casing that didn't get extracted from...

Re: My DIY S-Tines food plot cultivator with pics I am going to use an ATV. I wont be pulling very fast and the implement probably weighs in about 250 lbs. and have considered adding a weight box but I am going to see how it works without it first because I don't want to over stress it. The...

Re: My DIY S-Tines food plot cultivator with pics I'll use this to turn up the dirt, then spread the lime, fertilizer and seed with a bag spreader. Then go over it with a chain link drag to bury it and then pray like hell for rain!

Re: My DIY S-Tines food plot cultivator with pics I'm proud of it. I am an airframe and hydraulics mechanic by trade so my experience as a fabricator is limited to sheet metal and rivets. I have about $160 in this which is probably a third of what it would cost to buy something similar and...

Re: My DIY S-Tines food plot cultivator with pics The ground is tough where we hunt too. There are lots of rocks so I will take it slow and keep it from digging too deep until I get it broken up.

Hunting & Fishing My DIY S-Tines food plot cultivator with pics

I few weeks back I had asked if anyone had any ideas about this subject. I didn't get many replies so I came up with my own idea and went to work, this is what I came up with. It started as a section of stackable pallet racking. I cut it up a bit for the intended purpose if using the bottom...

    Hunting & Fishing Archery sight

Re: Archery sight I think there are a ton of good sights out there with a lot of positives and negatives. SpotHoggs are great, Viper, G5 and many others. Things to think about might be the pin size you want? Large sight guard or small which depends on your draw length and peep size? Do you...
