10X will work fine for 600 yards......i'd much rather have the 2.5 if was using it closer in. 4x at 50 yards is no bueno, IMO

Personal preference. I've used HS, Manners, MCM, AICS.
I prefer the AICS, MCM in that order. AI is gonna have a bit more weight to it than a HS.

If you are on a budget buy a used HS off the hide from a good member. Lots of ones pulled off LTR,700P's, PSS's. Probly can be had for 200$$

Not in my opinion...i use the 2.5-10 in 32mm and 24mm.... both mildot , mil turrets. besides the lack of parallax adjustment it is absolutely great for my 18" spr setup. . i like the close up and i have run it out to 700 yards no...
