    Re: Which suppressor? I have the Gemtech HVT with the quick detatch. It's a 308 suppressor but I have a qd birdcage on my AR15 and it does a good job of quieting the 5.56 as well. I'm very happy with it and it does a great job with subsonic loads.

    Re: What Suppressor to buy? I have the HVT QD and flip flop between my 308 bolt gun and AR15. I'm very happy with the sound suppression on both rifles BUT have never shot next to another suppressor of the same caliber. The QD is very nice and POI shift is consistent and very minor.

    Re: suppressed 308 Encore Gonna go do it. I'm gettin around the sbr situation by welding a flash hider with bilock to the barrel to give me an extra inch. Too bad I can't do the same thing to my pecker.
