    Re: Makarov with some Cerakote Thanks fellas! The colors are: H152 Stainless, H234 Sniper Gray and H146 Graphite Black. I'm spraying with an Iwata RG-3L although I've been using a El Cheapo gun for metalics lately because the Iwata has 0.6 nozzle and sometimes it will spit a little bit.

    Re: Cerakote solvent tanks Made a call to Allied chemical. Methanol is $130/ 55 gal and acetone is $400/ 55 gal. Hope it does a nice job because I'm gonna be stuck with a shit load of gas if it doesn't.

    Re: Replacing a muzzle break on Bushmaster? Not sure where you're at in MD, Dave Grimm in York PA could take care of it and his fees are "cheap." If you're in Baltimore County it's a pretty short trip.

    Re: Sandblasting Prep???? Aluminum oxide 100-120 grit is suggested. I'm sure most media will work however the ao will etch the surface and produce a surface Cerakote likes. I've used 70 grit in a pinch and it worked, but I stick to 100.

    Re: Cerakote solvent tanks Put a drain in it and strain it into a gasoline can when you're done. Acetone is evaporates fast and at damn near $20 gallon you gotta drain it off every time. At least that's my experience.

    Re: dust collector for blasting cabinet Ugsly, I've been using the Badboy premier blaster and it throws ao all over my shop. No media in the filter or in the bottom of the collector but it's all over the top of the cabinet... damn thing blasts great tho. Which collector/ cabinet are you using.
