Take a look at the hinge. There are set screws that can be used to adjust the pivot. Im not sure if there is one that will fix your particular problem, but take a look. There might be something there.

Lee collet die doesn´t "squeeze" enough...

I use the Lee collet die with a Redding body die for 300 WM. I use an undersized mandrel that I got from Midway to get a touch more neck tension. This combo produces excellent ammunition. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1016834692/lee-collet-neck-sizer-die-undersize-mandrel

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

It had to be shallow at the belt. That's the only place headspace is gauged on belted mags.

It's a common bedding technique. I've done it and seen gunsmiths do it that way and swear by it. I've also often seen and done the full free float technique. I've seen both ways work extremely well to maximize a rifle's potential.

I'm using Fed 210M. I often find that CCI250s work great with RL26, but I got better groups with less pressure with the 210s.

Another thing to check is case weight. I've noticed two significantly different case weight groups with the factory loaded Hornady brass. The first group weighs around 219 grains and the second group weighs around 224 grains. The five grain difference will affect pressure, especially if...

Is the velocity spiking when the rounds "cook"? If so, I think you may be onto something. It happens with a lot of powders no matter the brand name on the bottle. The velocity seems about right for your charge. Mine is at 2975 with 55.7 grains of RL26 and the 143s are at 3020 fps with 56.1...

I've found that the heavy bolt lift on these is a combination of a lot of cock on open and getting up to pressure. Are you getting good primary extraction, or is the case sticking in the chamber? Are the ejector marks nice and round? If so, this is caused by the sharp machined edges of the...

Manners eh series and proof barrels?

    I've got a 338 Sendero contour in a Manners EH1.

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

The SKB double rifle case is my favorite for hauling big rifles around. It won't handle the longest barrels, but it's great for 26" bbls with a couple inches of muzzle brake.

Mine was too loose. It kept coming loose when I didn't want it to. It's got thread locker on it now.

    Seekins muzzle brake for Havak

I use them on all my rifles. When I'm hunting I don't even notice a difference. Additionally, being behind the rifle is different than being next to a braked rifle. The Seekins brake, being less aggressive, is a little tamer than others in regards to noise produced.

Drop your charge .3 grains when you switch to the 143. Generally speaking, it's a 10 to 1 inverse relationship between bullet weight and powder charge. For every 1 grain you increase in bullet weight, you need to decrease .1 of powder charge. It's not a hard fast rule, but it will usually get...

    Seekins HAVAK Precision Rifle

I found another fantastic load combination for my Havak 6.5 CM after shooting 143s for a year. I switched to the 140 Berger Elite Hybrid seated .050" off the lands (~2.858" OAL) with 42.2 grains of RL16 in a Hornady case primed with a 210M. Three shots went into the same hole at 100 yards...

    Seekins muzzle brake for Havak

I have the Seekins brake/comp on a Havak. It's not as aggressive as some brakes, but it works well enough to spot my hits, it doesn't blow dust up into my face like a radial brake, and it's priced right. I say proceed with confidence.

Not lucky. Some guys just can't shoot. I also see that people buy these rifles expecting them to shoot Core Lokts into 1/4 minute groups. Then they let the whole world know about the $2k factory rifle that doesn't meet the accuracy guarantee. Sorry guys, that's not how the game works.

    Labradar vs OCW Test

This is similar to the load I worked with 140 Elite Hunters. I found that 42.1-42.4 of RL16 produced less than 5 fps difference with bughole groups. So I put the charge at 42.2 and began knocking steel around. Velocity avg is 2830 fps.

You may not be able to fit the 147s in the mag at .020" off. The mag is pretty tight at 2.950. My Ridgeline tuned in at .020" off with an OAL of 2.980" with the hornady max load of RL26. H1000 did okay, solid 3/4 MOA with as many shots as you wanted to shoot into the group, but RL26 was the...

    6.5 PRC factory rifle offerings

I plan to stick with Hornady cases. I haven't found a reason to complain about them, unlike my last 100 Bertram 300 RUM cases that had 10 grains of weight variation.
