    I recently received what looks to a be a single tube PVS14 from a family estate, looks to be a PVS 14 from the serial number tag. I tried it and it works just fine looks green to me but I know nothing about NV devices.

    I started shooting PRS 2 years ago and went through the same thing. I would recommend attending a match, chat with the guys and their setup. U will typically see rifles ranging from low to high end and the guys will even let u shoot it if u ask nicely. I ended up going with a MPA PMR at the time.

    When the bolt is pulled back and I use a thin driver to push down on the bolt release it works. I did tighten the Allen screw on the trigger holding the plate a little because it was really loose.
